Justice Coalition Newspaper
Wins Outstanding Media Award

Editor Ray Tuenge, Jr. and John Kirkland,
longtime Justice Coalition benefactor.

Justice Coalition’s Victims’ Advocate monthly newspaper won the Outstanding Media Award from the Mayor’s Victim Advocacy Advisory Council (VAAC). It was presented during a luncheon honoring National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

The newspaper has been a long-standing foundation on the First Coast of victim advocacy, news and information. A free monthly publication with a circulation of 45,000, it gives victims and survivors a voice to be heard, takes the readers behind the scenes of cases from the victims’ perspective, acknowledges people who fight for victims’ rights, and keeps the public aware of pending legislation that affects victims. It also posts photos and information for the community of our Most Wanted, Missing Persons, Unsolved Murders and Sexual Predators.
