Victims know there are few things more difficult to recover from than a violent crime. Shattered lives, emotional collapse, depression, financial pressures, and a profound sense of loss all take a toll on individuals and families. In Northeast Florida innocent victims of violent crime have a caring resource they can turn to for support, encouragement, and assistance.

The Justice Coalition has been a tireless advocate for innocent victims of violent crime since 1995, using their newspaper, Victims’ Advocate, to assist police in the capture of more than 2,000 fugitives and the return of more than 175 missing persons. Additionally, their work in criminal justice matters has been instrumental in making laws tougher for those who commit violent acts.

This nonprofit (501(c)(3)) grassroots organization relies on the contributions of caring citizens and businesses for its funding. The Champions for Justice Awards Dinner was established in 2009 to recognize and honor Extraordinary Heroes who do extraordinary work in the areas of victims’ rights, crime fighting, and crime prevention. Proceeds from this dinner fund the work of the Justice Coalition. I am asking you to support this vital organization with your sponsorship of this year's dinner on Thursday, November 6, 2014. The attached form provides information on the event itself as well as the levels of sponsorship available. As a “thank you,” each level offers to recognize you or your business in a variety of ways. Most of all, you have the satisfaction of knowing your investment helps rebuild shattered lives and keep violent criminals off the street.

We deeply appreciate your support.
