Damien Tucker Awarded First Ann Dugger Scholarship Award

Justice Coalition’s very first $2,500 Ann Dugger Scholarship Award was presented to Damien Tucker.

It was given by Ann Dugger at the 15th Annual Together We Can Breakfast on March 16, 2017.

Damien is currently on the dean’s list at FSU studying accounting and finance. He also place eleventh in a class of over 300 at Edward White High School at graduation and w.

as captain of three sports teams.

The new annual scholarship is funded by a generous donation from the Michael J. Ward Foundation. It is awarded to a deserving victim or family member of an innocent victim of violent crime.

Damien Tucker is the brother of William LaShawn Tucker, Jr. who was murdered in 2015. His perpetrator’s trial is scheduled for this July.
